Middle School Contest
At the elementary level, all students are tested at each local school with a contest that the Math League supplies. The top five scores for grades 4 5, and 6 are submitted to the League. The scores are then checked and compared with other schools’ entries and the top four school teams, as well as the top five individual scorers for grades four through six, are awarded trophies at a special evening Awards Ceremony. In addition, each participating school’s highest individual scorer is sent a “ribbon” so that recognition can be awarded within each individual school.

*Contest Window is April 15-19, 2024
*Contests need to be postmarked by April 22, 2024 (Grades 4, 5, 6)
At the middle school level, students get to travel with their math teams to an outside location to compete against other math teams around Ocean County. This year, students will take the contest at the RWJ Barnabas Health Arena at Toms River High School North. All contests are scored and students receive the results the same day. The top 4 school teams receive medals, as well as the top 5 individual scorers for Ocean County. In addition, each participating school’s highest individual scorer is sent a “ribbon” so that recognition can be awarded within each individual school.
